Comments:                Hello, I'm Lisa's dad, we will be looking for a new dog soon, our Great Dane is quite old and suffering from arthritus. Is there any history of arthritus with this breed? Our walks are now limited because she can't get up in the car. Are there any major problems with the coat, our dogs have been shot haired.

Comments:               I fairly recently met your mother, Chris, as I am Scretary of the local W.I. I love dogs and have a black and white cocker called Minstrel (not politicaly correct nowadays I'm told! I had a Welsh Springer puppy in l990 called Bryn and another in l992 called Rowan and even though I was 63 when I got Bryn I did go to ringcraft classes and went to dog shows. Both dogs did well and both qualified for Crufts, Rowan first and Bryn two years later. Unfortunately Rowan died when he was only seven which was devastating as I felt he'd only had half his life. I got Minstrel after about three years as I didn't want to be without a dog when I lost Bryn. Luckily he lived until he was 16 It was so nice to read about and see your dogs. Good luck when you start showing - it is great fun, but expensive! and one makes lots of friends. Both mine got to Crufts - Rowan was 5th (Highly Commended but Bryn, who wasn't so well bred, wasn't successful but it was a great experience, especially as I'd never even been to a dog show before I got Bryn although I'd always enjoyed watching Crufts on T,.V. All the best, Hilda

Comments:               Hello Anne and Simon, Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for allowing us to visit you and your lovely girls on 27.3.10. We planned a weekend in Cumbria and the visit to see your girls made the weekend complete. We had to laugh when Simon mentioned the word "sofa" and Bramble immediately parked her bum on it...ha,ha.! Anyway, love the website and have added you to our favourites. The photos Simon gave us are stuck on the fridge door and we have a look every day. We can't wait to have our own not so little boy.!! Keep up the great work and all the best for Bramble's mating. Dawn and Michael (Leeds)

Comments:                Hi, just wanted to say I love your website, followed the link from the Leonmoor website We lost our Lovely Golden Retreiver in May at the age of 13. One of our walking friends was a Leo and what can I say apart from I was smitten with him. Bramble, Ilse and Eva, look absolutely gorgeous and seeing the beautiful Shona brings back so many happy memories. We are in the middle of a house move at the moment - out of one and waiting to move in to the other, but hope when we're settled in we can get our own Leo boy/girl. Great to read the other posts from other Leo Lovers  Best wishes  Sue

Comments:               Just thought I'd drop you a line. Seen the link from Leonmoor and had a look at the site and the pictures OMG they are so gorgeous.I picked my Leo girl puppy up from Grant & Mandy last Sunday so have been a Leo owner for only 5 days so everything is a bit strange at the moment especially as my 8 year old border collie dog isn't too keen on his new sister. I hope that my little India (named after Grandma) grows up to be as beautiful as your girls. You must have had your hands full with 2 puppies at the same time?

Comments:                Hello. What a great Leonberger website you have - I followed the link from the Leonmoor website. Me and my mum have met Grant and Mandy a couple of times now and we are planning to get a couple of Leonbergers in the future. We have a very old black retriever now who likes a bit of peace and quiet in his senior years! The pictures on your site are really good - I'll tell my mum that I've found some more Leonberger groupies! Keep up the good work! Emma.
