Bramble has grown into a very placid and easy going dog, very lazy around the house but really comes to life outside and is like a big puppy again when let off the lead. She loves water and loves following Shona on a retrieve but isn't quite fast enough to be the first to get to the ball!
Bramble is a very intelligent dog - we used to use a stairgate on the entrance to the kitchen so the dogs could see us but staying safe whilst cooking. Bramble could open the gate by flicking up the catch with her nose and letting everyone into the kitchen. We have gone back to just closing the door but she can jump up and open that with her paw with absolutely no effort at all!
